Chelsea & Paul
December 21, 2027
Think of it as a vacation with a wedding built in.
You’ll book your own flights
You'll book your accommodation at our wedding resort through our travel agent
Once you’re there, you’re free to relax and enjoy the resort however you like – whether that’s by the pool, at the beach, or exploring the area
We’ll have a few planned wedding events where we’ll all come together to celebrate
For our events:
We’ll be covering food, drinks, and entertainment
We’ll also be arranging childcare during key events, so parents can relax and enjoy the celebrations
Outside of those moments, it’s entirely up to you how you spend your time – as social or as laid-back as you like.
Yes — all guests are required to stay at the resort.
We’ve arranged our wedding through a dedicated travel agent to make things as smooth as possible for everyone. This means:
All bookings should be made through our travel agent via their booking link
They have secured exclusive group rates at the resort
Your booking also includes airport transfers to and from the resort
Booking this way ensures that everyone is part of the wedding group, which is important for event access, coordination, and overall experience.
The booking process is designed to be straightforward — you’ll be able to select your room and submit your details directly, and your trip will be managed as part of the group itinerary.
We kindly ask that you confirm your attendance by March 19, 2027.
This is the date when a $250 per person deposit is due to secure your room at the resort, which should be booked through our travel agent.
Ideally, you'll want to book flights between April and August of 2027. Rooms must be booked via our travel agent before March 19, 2027, at which point a $250 per-person deposit needs to be paid. The full balance for your room is due August 2, 2027.
Book flights to Cancun International Airport (CUN).

Of course — you’re very welcome to travel with friends or family beyond those invited to the wedding.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
Only invited wedding guests will be able to book through our travel agent and access the group rates and perks
Additional guests are welcome to book the resort independently or stay nearby
Our wedding events themselves will be limited to invited guests only
Outside of the scheduled celebrations, it’s completely up to you how you spend your time — whether that’s relaxing, exploring, or enjoying the trip with others.
We just ask that you’re there to celebrate with us during the wedding events themselves.
We know the timing is close to the holidays, so we wanted to share a bit of context behind the decision:
We have guests travelling from both the UK and the US, many with children, so we aimed to choose a date that aligns with school holidays
The only overlaps in school breaks were either early August or the Christmas period
December offered much more comfortable weather, as August has highs of 94°F/34°C with higher humidity and rainfall (and possible hurricanes!) compared to December's 83°F/28°C
Before Christmas is much more affordable than dates closer to New Year
We completely understand that this timing won’t work for everyone, as it is a busy time of year for some, so it may be too big of a barrier for you to attend. We truly appreciate any effort to join us!
Our wedding events will be adults-only.
We know many guests will be travelling with children, so please don’t let that put you off attending. The resort is very family-friendly, and childcare is fully taken care of during all of our wedding events.
The resort offers a Kids Club and Teens Club with supervised daily activities
We will be arranging dedicated childcare for every wedding event
This includes coverage outside of Kids Club hours and for babies or younger children who may not be eligible for the club
In short, you can enjoy the celebrations knowing your children are nearby, safe, and well looked after without needing to organize anything yourself.
The resort offers several options for childcare:
A fully supervised Kids Club (ages 3–12), open daily from 9:00 am – 10:00 pm
A Teens Club (ages 13–17) with activities and games, open daily from 9:00 am – 10:00 pm
Additional childcare/babysitting services are available through the resort at an extra cost
For our wedding events specifically, we will be arranging dedicated childcare, so you won’t need to organise anything yourself.
The Kids Club is designed for children aged 3 and above, and age requirements are typically enforced.
If your child is younger:
The resort offers babysitting/childcare services that can be arranged separately
We will ensure childcare is provided during all wedding events, including for babies and younger children
In short, whether your child is in the Kids Club or not, childcare will be covered during our events, so you can relax and enjoy the celebrations.
For general resort dining, you can view the official dress guidelines here.
For our wedding events, here’s what to plan for:
Welcome Event – White Beach Formal: Wear white, and think elevated but beach-appropriate. This event will take place on the sand, so opt for styles and footwear that work well on the beach (e.g. flat shoes, wedges, or sandals rather than heels – or even just barefoot!).
Wedding Day – Smart Summer: A polished, summery look. Not overly formal (no need for black tie or heavy suits), but more dressed up than daytime casual. Light fabrics, dresses, shirts, and tailored pieces all work well.
Farewell Brunch – Hungover Casual: Very relaxed. If you make it there and are wearing clothes, you’re doing great.
The goal across all events is to feel comfortable, appropriate for the setting, and ready to enjoy the celebrations.
Yes! The resort is all-inclusive so food and drinks are all included in your room price. We will also be providing a dedicated open bar at our events.
We're asking you to pay for a family vacation to attend our wedding – so, no, absolutely no gifts are expected. However, if we haven't talked to you in a while, we'd love for you to send us a message letting us know how you've been!
Most of your stay at the resort is all-inclusive, meaning the majority of food, drinks, and activities are already covered.
That said, there are a few optional extras you may wish to budget for:
Spa treatments (massages, facials, etc.)
Premium wines or top-shelf liquor may be extra
Excursions and off-site activities (e.g., tours, diving, day trips)
Certain premium services or experiences within the resort
Tipping is not required but is customary and appreciated. It is entirely at your discretion and is typically done in cash at the point of service in USD or Mexican Pesos. There are ATMs on site.
Overall, you can absolutely enjoy your stay without spending anything beyond the resort package — any additional costs are completely optional depending on how you choose to spend your time.
You probably won't need one, as the resort has wifi. We bought them when we visited, but we either did not have service or were somewhere that had wifi. So, unless you plan to do loads of independent exploration of the surrounding towns, our suggestion: save your money!
